   "Matching skills with vacancies for the organisation of sustainable VET"  -

Leonardo da Vinci Partnerships project 2009-2011. The goal of the current project is to identify problems in the 5 partner countries and draw conclusions concerning the topic of integration of skills needs of the labour market into VET. The partners are: Bankovní institut vysoká škola, a.s.- Prague, Report.BG JSC- Sofia, ISEP- Paris, EuroPartnership Agency Ltd- Plymouth, Határok Nélkül Kft- Budapest

The concrete objectives are as follows:

  • definition of priorities and key concepts concerning the topic integration of skills needs of the labour market into VET;
  • identification of problems, needs and constraints in – the Czech Republic, France, United Kingdom, Bulgaria and Hungary on the topic mentioned;
  • identification of 5 sectors that have a leading role for the sustainable economic development in all five partnering countries;
  • identification of skills needs of the contemporary and future labour market in these 5 economic sectors;
  • exchanging, analysing and comparing good examples of policy practices concerning matching labour market skills with vacancies and integrating them into VET;
  • deciding on the concrete target groups for the methodology that will be developed;
  • identification of possible ways for establishing connections between organisations (=employees and their skills) and VET;
  • assessment, refinement and consolidation of concepts, recommendations and conclusions for strengthening polices.

The major subjects or problems the partners intend to address are the following:

  • five economic sectors with dominant role in the five partnering countries;
  • the skills needs of the labour market in the identified five leading economic sectors;
  • ways of introduction of the identified skills needs into VET;
  • major aspects of VET systems and relation to labour market;
  • employees not applying VET studies in their jobs;
  • difficulties faced by employees in applying VET studies in their jobs;
  • difficulties in front of VET systems in offering the necessary for the labour market skills;
  • role of key agents in VET and on the labour market including education and training institutions and employers;
  • effective policies and programmes;
  • integration of innovative pedagogical methods into VET;

For achieving the above described objectives the partners intend to use the following approaches:

  • research;
  • comparative analysis;
  • deduction.

HUN-HYPOS: „Hungarian e-learning training structure on the design and operation of Hybrid Power Systems”, (LLP-LdV-TOI-2008-HU-07)

During the project the project partnership develops the structured DL courses on the design and operation of Hybrid Power Systems, on 2 level for Hungarian professionals.

The ultimate objective of the project is to ensure improved and high quality Hybrid Power Systems by providing energy planners, decision makers, engineers working in power production and distribution, and the technical staff of local and regional energy agencies with a comprehensive, specialized training programme, designed to be as flexible as possible to meet the training needs and requirements of both themselves, as individuals, and the organisations they represent, bearing in mind that to up-grade their skills requires effective and repeated training and retraining with the trends and experience.

HUN-HYPOS was launched on 1st October 2008 and lasts until October 1st 2010. Hungary.

ILEAP: Interactive Learning of Energetic Utilisation of Agricultural Products and By-products, (HU/05/B/F/PP-170012)

Project ILEAP aimed at designing a certified e-learning training and education program in Europe for those who intend to be engaged in the field of energetic utilisation of agricultural products and by-products in the future. It is supported by Leonardo da Vinci Pilot Project Programme and coordinated by Határok Nélkül Kft, Hungary. ILEAP was launched on 1st October 2005 and lasted until October 1st 2007. Hungary, Greece, Austria, Romania took part in the programme.

BILLARD- Blended & Integrated Lifelong Learning for Actors in Regional Development,  (A/04/B/F/PP-158.123)

This project is financed by the Leonardo da Vinci Community vocational training action programme. The Austrian company BLUEWATERS is project coordinator worked together with partners from United Kingdom, Slovenia, Romania, Hungary, Germany, Czech Republic, and Austria. BILLARD aimed at the development of a training product and methodology for a (re)integration of the target groups into working life, while providing knowledge and understanding of contemporary regional development processes, governance theory, policy and practice in a European context.
